Interfaith spaces are often framed through the language of peace, dialogue, and harmony—but how well does that narrative reflect our current realities?
This event opens with a candid contextual reflection on where we stand locally, nationally, and globally today, challenging the comforting but often vague rhetoric that surrounds interfaith engagement. Rather than relying on abstract ideals, the conversation asks whether the language of “harmony” has at times obscured deeper tensions, inequalities, and unresolved harms within these spaces—and when we face these harder truths, what we gain from the deeper wisdom of our traditions for ourselves and the world.
