Celebrations and Ceremonies Monday, Aug. 28, and Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 PM Registration link coming soon. An educational and delightful 2-part virtual program where we will get an opportunity to learn about some celebrations and ceremonies from eight different faith traditions.

Compassionate Conversations Monday, Aug. 28 at 12 PM in addition to the in-person at the exhibition Registration link for virtual session coming soon. How does our religious identity help us to navigate the crossroads we encounter? Are there moments in our lives where our faith emboldened us to make a difficult choice? Join us as we encounter one another across religious lines and share personal stories of crossroads.

Spiritual Meditations In-person at the Festival exhibition on Aug. 27 at 2 PM, and/or virtual session on Aug. 29th from 7 – 9 PM. Registration link for virtual session coming soon. Meditative devotion and prayers are a means of strengthening our spiritual connections, reducing fear and anxiety, and achieving inner peace in our hectic lives. Take a break from your rushed lives and come join our meditative sessions!

FCGG Earth as a Common Ground, The Call for a Moral Voice Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 12 PM registration link coming soon. Sister CJ Willie will introduce the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) developed to teach faith communities worldwide to care for our common home. Slide presentation.

Taking Action: Moving from Despair to Hope Tuesday, Aug. 29, 4 – 5 PM and Wednesday, Aug. 30, 4 – 5 PM. registration links coming soon. A Mighty Stream presents this two part series. We’ll first have the opportunity to learn more about systemic racism and the impact of a system that isn’t equitable. The second session will be an opportunity to begin to fill the advocacy and community organizing toolbox necessary to move us towards an equitable society.

Festival of Faiths Peace Walk Walking together for peace, compassion, and friendship. Thursday, Aug. 31, 7 – 9 PM at Ault Park, 5090 Observatory Circle Meet at the great lawn (below the pavilion by the flagpole) to walk the loop. Rain or shine, all ages welcome. Graeter’s ice cream truck and water available for purchase, bring blankets, lawn chairs, and water.
