Throughout the course of human history, art has served as a medium for transcendence and meaning among many of the world’s religious traditions. Art offers a universal language that cuts across social barriers and provides a gateway into collective consciousness, challenging systems of power and privilege, and restoring our common humanity. In this panel discussion, we will learn how Roman Williams (Interfaith Photovoice) and Saad Ghosn (SOS ART) have developed artistic philosophies which put storytelling and social justice into action within interfaith spaces and beyond, and offer strategies for how these tools may be implemented in your own community.
